Safety Protocol
Greenburgh United follows Health and Safety Protocols Governed by The State Of New York and the CDC (Center for Disease Control).
I. Guidance for away games
Greenburgh United Teams must maintain, at minimum, Greenburgh United safety protocols contained in this document.
While visiting other clubs' fields, if the team Coach and manager feel that the home club providing a safe environment, they may tell the referee the team will not play.
Club Protocol:
1. Pre-Game Preparation:
Parents should ensure that their child is physically fit to participate in training sessions and games.
Players and staff must stay home if they are feeling unwell or have any injuries that could affect their performance.
2. Arrival at the Field:
Players and staff should arrive at the field on time to begin warm-ups and preparations for the training session or game.
Players must bring their own water bottles, towels, and other personal equipment.
3. During Training and Games:
Focus on skill development, teamwork, and strategy during training sessions and games.
Coaches should provide guidance and encouragement to players to help them improve their performance on the field.
Emphasize fair play, sportsmanship, and respect for teammates, opponents, coaches, and referees.
4. Equipment and Facilities:
Ensure that all equipment is in good condition and safe to use.
