Who We Are

Greenburgh United was founded in 2011 as a non-for profit Youth Soccer Club.

In 2019 a new board was formed to further the development of the club.

GU offers programs supporting soccer-for-all, in addition to programs for more competitive players.

As an official Club Partner of the New York Red Bulls, elite players have a pathway through the Red Bulls RDS (Regional Development Schools) and through the Red Bulls Academy Team Pathway.

Located in the town of Greenburgh, NY, Westchester County. Greenburgh is made up of several communities including Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, Edgemont, Elmsford, Hartsdale, Hastings-on-Hudson, Irvington & Tarrytown.

Families from all towns are welcome to participate in our programs.

While serving our local communities, we operate as a stand-alone, volunteer-run, non-for-profit club soccer program. Our teams compete in both the Westchester Youth Soccer League (WYSL) and the NY EDP North Atlantic League—part of New York Club Soccer (NYCS)—offering our players outstanding opportunities for competitive play and skill development.

For All Skill Levels: Greenburgh United has programs for boys and girls of all skill levels, ranging from First Touch Program, Pre-Travel, and the Development Program to Travel and Select Teams, in addition to supplemental training in SAQ (Speed, Agility, and Quickness), Goalkeeper Training, and Summer/Winter/School Break Camps.

Professional Trainers: All programs are run by Greenburgh United and New York Red Bulls USSF & UEFA certified professional trainers. Travel teams have a dedicated trainer. Trainers run all of the team practices and coach their teams on match days. All trainers share the Greenburgh United training philosophy, and values of the club.

Parents: Greenburgh United believes in building our culture through our families and community. GU encourages parent participation as team managers, volunteers, and proud members of our club. We do not allow parent training or coaching with any of our programs.

We also need the parents to respect the club as whole. Including the trainers, volunteers, the board, and the club operational decisions.

Travel Teams Formed by Skill Level: Our goal is to place players on teams with teammates of similar ability. Travel teams are then placed into divisions within the Westchester Youth Soccer League (WYSL), or NY EDP for Select Teams, where their opponents will be of similar skill level. We do this for proper player development.

First Touch & Pre-Travel Programs: For children new to soccer we offer a First Touch Program, and our Pre-travel soccer training. All sessions are run by our GU Trainer's and our hand-selected trainers from our partners, The New York Red Bulls. Our program includes two (1) hour sessions on the weekends, Saturday, and Sunday for all age groups.

Greenburgh United offers several soccer programs; including boys and girls travel teams for (currently) U7-U16, plus Summer Camps, Winter Training, Development Programs, Clinics, in addition to our Pre Travel & First Touch Programs for 3-8-year-olds. In 2025 Greenburgh United is launching their first Adult Tea
